Games Britannia, the videogames eduction festival, is has an official launch event taking place in Sheffield on January 23, running until January 24, with a 24-hour marathon of events set to take place.
There'll be a ‘game jam,' with teams creating a game for Window 8 (there'll be judges there from Microsoft), and a game designed by last year's winners will also be launched. There'll be seminars and plenty of other educationally tinged activities at the launch event for the festival that is due place at Sheffield Hallam University from 10 to 14 June, 2013.
