According to Distressed Debt Double Fine Productions have registered interest in buying assets at the upcoming THQ auction that is set for January 22.
"Double Fine has requested the bankruptcy filings in the THQ case."
While it's rather unlikely that Double Fine will go after Saints Row or Homefront, it is logical and likely that they want to pick up the rights to their two THQ published titles Stacking and Costume Quest. Given the moderate success of the games it's unlikely that Double Fine will come up against much competition if they choose to attempt to recapture these rights.
