As you may recall, last summer IO Interactive and Square Enix concluded their collaboration, and as a result, the studio became independent and continued to keep the Hitman brand after successfully negotiating with the publisher.
In the past few hours the Danish studio has tweeted a mysterious post with new artwork that says that something will be revealed about Hitman on October 24 at 14:00 CET (13:00 BST). Unfortunately, though, it looks like IO Interactive won't announce Hitman's second episodic season, as they clearly stated in a blog post, but it seems it'll be something different related to their IP.
The logo in the background has intrigued us, and since IO Interactive is currently without a publisher, maybe the studio has found the support of a company like Ubisoft, given the similarity of this background image with the French company logo. Obviously, this is pure speculation on our part, and at this point we're just waiting for October 24 to find out more.
What do you want to see from the announcement?
