Those of you who have played the Call of Duty series from the start probably have quite a few memories from the Carentan map. The abandoned French town has been a part of Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, and Call of Duty 2, and it's even in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare as well, as Chinatown is a remastered version of it. That's why it makes some sense that it makes a return for Call of Duty: WWII.

The only catch is that Sledgehammer Games has announced that it'll only be available for those of you who own a season pass, at least at first. Their exact statement is that the map will be "available Day 1 for Season Pass and Digital Deluxe Edition owners", so it seems like they might be implying that it'll be available for everyone else sometime in the future.

Is Carentan a highlight in terms of the series' maps?
