Ubisoft has said that Assassin's Creed: Origins will have the biggest and most beautiful world in the series' history, something that you'd think would require a serious rig to run on PC. Well, the developers have finally revealed the PC requirements and they're far from the worst we've seen.
We're told that the minimum requirements will let us run the game at 720p/30FPS with the video presets on lowest, while the recommended will let us enjoy it in 1080p/30FPS with the video presets on high. Stronger PCs will also be able to run the game at 4K and higher frame-rates, but it's clear that the main focus is on maintaining a steady frame-rate.
Jose Araiza, one of the game's producers, has said that the game will use dynamic resolution rendering on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, which means that the game will adjust the frame resolution if it can't maintain the baseline frame-rate. The game will also have built-in benchmarking and in-game performance analysis, so we're hopeful that the rumours of the game having problems on PC are false. Either way, here are the requirements:
