As soon as you download PES 2018's Data Pack 1.0 (which is now available to download) and launch the game you'll notice a change that Konami hasn't talked about, but that was expected - Gerard Piqué now replaces Neymar Jr in the official graphics.
It's still all Barcelona players on the digital cover, the title screen, and the home icon, but next to Luis Suárez, Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta and young talent Sergi Roberto you can now see the Catalonian defender.

However, even though this PES 2018 update has taken into consideration several changes made to teams, it doesn't affect the whole game yet. We've noticed this with the intro video, in which Neymar still wears the Barça jersey, same as Dembélé is with Borussia Dortmund (although in-game they moved to PSG and Barça respectively on launch day). Curiously enough, Atlético Madrid players do wear their new kit in this video, as part of the Data Pack 1 updates.
