Big Ant has announced that Ashes Cricket will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 16, just in time for the first Magellan Ashes Test in Brisbane.
Ashes Cricket will feature realistic players of the English and Australian teams both for the men and women. On top of this the developers are also using a combination of photogrammetry and licensed 3D models to recreate Australian cricket stadiums.
"We can't wait for fans to get their hands on the game," Big Ant CEO Ross Symons said. "We wanted this game to build on the years of experience that we've had in developing cricket games, and we're thrilled with the results. Playing this game really does feel like being out there on one of Australia's iconic cricket grounds."
A career mode will be featured in the game as well, requiring you to take a young player to lead them through the world of cricket, eventually ending up at the Ashes yourself, not unlike other sports games like FIFA and NBA 2K.
"All the in-depth customisation features that Big Ant is known for are in this game," Symons said. "and we're adding the greatest competition in cricket into the mix, fully licensed, for an extra shot of authenticity and realism."
Will you be taking this for a spin to get you in the Ashes mood?
