The Star Wars Battlefront II beta is currently underway for those who pre-ordered the game, with everyone else having to wait until tomorrow to get stuck into the action, but now one Reddit post claims there's a way to get a free key for the beta without pre-ordering.
User INGWR shared this method, which includes going to EA's support page, and apparently all you have to do is select that you have an invalid code and give a reasonable excuse, after which you'll be prompted to sign into your EA account and you'll get two emails, one of which contains a code. Other users are reporting that this works, but it remains to be seen how EA will respond.
