The analytics at The Nielsen Company have probed console usage in America, more specifically how each group uses their console. As you can see the differences are rather minor with the exception of Wii owners playing online (no surprise there) and Playstation 3 owners who are more likely to watch movies on their system.
It is also notable that out of the time spent with the system Xbox 360 owners spent more time playing online. Nintendo Wii owners seem to have taken a liking to the streaming movie service as well.
