Fan-created Overwatch hero catches Jeff Kaplan's eye

Tara is the creation of Weerawan Mapithak.

Fan creations often go unnoticed by the companies making the work the creators are trying to emulate, but occasionally some catch the eye of the big names, which is exactly what happened with Weerawan Mapithak, who has added her own Thai character to Overwatch, called Tara.

The results of her work are excellent, and even feature Halloween skins for the character, so we're glad Jeff Kaplan has noticed and took the time to congratulate the student and tell her how talented she was.

Does Tara have what it takes to be a part of the Overwatch roster? At least her creator can try to apply at Blizzard...
