It's very hard to dispute the success of the remake of It, which premiered earlier this month, and has since become the highest grossing horror movie of all time with earnings of $478.1 million USD. We've known since the beginning that the rest of the Stephen King novel will be adapted into a sequel, but now that sequel has received a firm release date.
Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have confirmed that Chapter 2 will release on September 6, 2019, so there's a two-year wait to see the grown-up versions of the kids in the film.
