That's a whole lot of hybrid consoles.

Every time a new forecast for Nintendo Switch is revealed, it tends to be higher than the previous one, but as far as we know, no analyst has ever been as optimistic as Credit Suisse. They previously expected Switch to sell 70 million units by 2022, which is a whole lot and not too far from Wii territory (Wii sold around 100 million units).

But now they have upgraded those expectations by some margin. Now they claim that 130 million units will be sold by 2022. That would make Switch the second best-selling home console ever, trailing only PlayStation 2 (155 million units), and the third best if you also include the handhelds, Nintendo DS which did 154 million.

As a comparison, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have sold around 90 million units combined in a little less than four years.

Do you think the Switch stands a chance of selling 130 million units in just 6 years?
