Just like those teams that wait until the closing day of the summer transfer window, Konami has waited until today, the European Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 launch day, to switch on the game's online servers and update the team rosters with all the latest movements and signings.

You don't need to download a patch, as for now, this is not about adding new content. You just have to run the game and connect online, as the live update feature will modify rosters, dress players with the correct, current kits, and even tweak play systems and formations according to latest managerial strategies.

As proof, here we've captured a few in-game screenshots with the updated rosters, featuring players that were protagonists during this summer's market window.

Nélson Semedo is new FC Barcelona's right back.

What remains unchanged, and requires a patch, so perhaps we'll have to wait until first Data Pack, is the promo and menu materials still showing Neymar as highlighted star from FC Barcelona and Dembélé as Borussia Dortmund's featured striker. We expect both partner clubs to work closely with Konami so that those graphics are updated soon as well.
