As reported by ESPN, YouTubers Trevor 'TMarTn' Martin and Thomas 'Syndicate' Cassell have averted a judgement for advertising their own gambling site CSGO Lotto without properly stating their ownership. Martin and Cassell didn't officially credit themselves as founders and owners of the website they were featuring in their videos, and last summer their relation was made public and led to an action class lawsuit due to violation of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission Act.
Last week, however, the FTC's verdict revealed that a settlement has been reached in the case and no fine has been issued, but if they violate the law ever again, they have to pay a claim payment of $40,654 USD (around £30,819.80) per item.
