It's only been a few months since Phil Lord and Christopher Miller revealed that they wouldn't direct the upcoming Han Solo film after having "creative differences" with Lucasfilm and Disney, and it seems like the two companies aren't willing to change their plans for anyone.

Lucasfilm has announced that Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow has stepped down as the director of Star Wars Episode IX. The reason? You guessed it: their "visions for the movie differ" - aka creative differences. They have yet to announce a replacement at the time of writing but it didn't take long to find a new one for Han Solo, so we wouldn't be surprised to hear an update about this case soon either. Either way, it'll be interesting to see if they decide to re-write the script Trevorrow and Derek Connolly have written, or if they'll keep it as is.

Do you have any new candidates in mind?
