Twitch is going to add an interactive new feature for Twitch streamers called Twitch Extensions, and this new feature will add more than 20 extensions, from Streamlabs to Gear on Amazon, and also specific game extensions for games like Destiny 2, Overwatch, Hearthstone: Heroes of the Warcraft, and League of Legends.

"Twitch is a platform where communities create, share, and interact with the content they love," explains Ryan Lubinski, product manager for Extensions at Twitch. "With Twitch Extensions, we're taking interactivity to the next level by empowering our developer community to create customised interactive content, directly integrated with the Twitch platform, opening up a whole new world of creator-viewer interaction."

Third-party developers will also be able to make extensions, which will be hosted for free by Twitch. More information will be revealed at the developer day at TwitchCon on 19 October, so stay tuned if this interests you, but for now, you can check out the full list of extensions here.

Do these extensions sound like a good idea to you?
