PlayJam have launched a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming Android based mini console GameStick. Much like the Ouya GameStick is an open platform console that is Android based. The company says they've got 200 games working fine on it so far and the targeted release is April (same month as Ouya).

Here's a brief look at what's inside the stick:

Processor - Amlogic 8726-MX
Memory - 1GB DDR3 / 8GB FLASH
WiFi - 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth - LE 4.0
O/S - Android Jelly Bean
Controller - Bluetooth, 4 mode controller: icade, gamepad, mouse and keyboard.

The console comes in at just $79 and at first glance it comes across as a slightly more casual challenger to Ouya.
