'White walkers' attack Kratos in new God of War artwork

Father and son face the undead in frozen lands.

Winter is Coming to many games nowadays. The North and Norse mythology is a trendy setting, as seen recently in Hearthstone, Age of Conan and, of course, God of War, even more so given its mythological background. In the following four pieces of artwork, shared by Sony earlier today, fans get to see Kratos and son in the frozen, hostile environments, with a couple of them really bringing to mind the recent events from Game of Thrones beyond the Wall. Of course, in this setting they're most likely Draugen, the Viking equivalent of the undead.

God of War releases exclusively on PS4 on Q1, 2018. What do you think of the setting?
