Back in July, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio said that they would reveal some of their upcoming games on August 26, but it seems like the Taiwanese PlayStation Store leaked one of the announcements ahead of time, and it's an exciting one for Yakuza fans.

The store has posted a pre-order listing for Yakuza Kiwami 2, and you might recognise the title Yakuza Kiwami, as it's the remake of the original Yakuza that is launching here in Europe on August 29. This new listing is obviously for a remake of Yakuza 2, and the description states that it'll get the same remake treatment as the first Kiwami. That means it'll use the new Dragon Engine, re-recorded audio, and include some new content. The listing claims that the remake will launch in Taiwan on December 7, which we hope means that it'll make its way here next year.

Are you glad the second game is also getting a remake?
