There's certainly great anticipation for the new Assassin's Creed Origins, especially after the year's break that Ubisoft decided to take after a noticeable period of fatigue. The title was one of Microsoft's livestream stars during Gamescom and, at the German event, Ubisoft said the game will take advantage of the great power inside Xbox One X. Speaking to GamesRadar (via SegmentNext), game director Ashraf Ismail said :
"This is the one thing with the Xbox One X: we have more memory to play with, a faster processor, so we're definitely able to push the limits of those visuals."
"To be able to show it off and see the sun flickering off the waters of the Nile, it's breathtaking. I think it enhances the game and allows the game to shine at its best capacity. It's great for us and great to show off our talented artists work."
We're now looking forward to the game even more, and if you are too, make sure to check out our Gamescom preview, where we spent an hour in Memphis. Is this a game to get an Xbox One X for?
