The Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition, announced last Sunday during a live-stream organised by Microsoft at Gamescom 2017, has already sold out in less than a day. Xbox's head of marketing, Aaron Greenberg announced that in an interview with Rocket Beans TV (via VG24/7), who said that this success went far beyond Microsoft's expectations.

As stated by Greenberg, the company based in Redmond was expecting to sell out within a week, but they reached that goal far quicker than expected. Impressively, on Amazon the pre-order consoles ran out in just 25 minutes. As reported by the man from Xbox, Germany was one of the most enthusiastic to pre-order:

"In particular, in Germany the fans ordered at an accelerated rate, maybe the fastest in the world, so it was great to see the support from our fans here," he added.

Surely this news makes Microsoft happy, that people seem to believe in this new, highly-anticipated console. Were you able to get your hands on one of the limited edition machines?
