This is no easy feat.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is a game that keeps growing and growing in popularity, not just among players, but also among the streaming community as well, and now Gameloco reports that this past week PUBG had another impressive achievement, as it clocked more hours watched on Twitch than League of Legends did.

League of Legends is a huge game with not only a big esports following but also a large fanbase as well, so for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds to chart 16.9 million hours watched last week in comparison to League of Legends' 15 million is a big deal. What's more is that, as noted by Gameloco, in over three years of monitoring Twitch last week was the first in which Riot Games' MOBA was beaten by a game that wasn't pushed by an esports event.

The streaming community is pretty active for PUBG then, it seems, whether that be those getting banned for exploiting glitches or just those wanting to show off their achievements, and with so many watching the game online, it doesn't seem as if the game's momentum is going to slow down any time soon. Is this your favourite game to watch on Twitch?
