Destiny 2 will have over 80 missions and PvE activities

There's going to be no shortage of content.

Destiny 2 is creeping closer and closer to its release date of September 6, and the latest edition of Edge magazine has revealed some brand new details of the game, which have subsequently been shared by Reddit user kapowaz.

For example, we now know that the beta didn't contain the final version of how energy weapons work against AI fighters with elemental shields, as when the shield is depleted, it explodes. Nightfall strikes were also discussed, as they now have a time limit, which varies from strike to strike.

What especially caught our eye, though, is the fact that there are over 80 missions and PvE activities, with each being "substantial" in length, story, difficulty, and reward. In fact, there's so much new content that at one point in development the studio allegedly realised they had more content than there was progression, although this has been fixed.

Apparently there were also other details that Edge were asked not to reveal, one of which includes the Hunter class, where reviewers were happy that the class will develop well. Supers and grenades are also a part of this too, as they'll recharge faster than in the beta, but we'll be encouraged to recharge them faster through aggressive play.

Are you impressed by what's been revealed?
