Those of you getting stuck into the action of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds probably know the one existing map very well, called Erangel, but Brendan 'PlayerUnknown' Greene has said in an interview with US Gamer that this map will still be subject to change in the future, despite new maps coming to the game.
When asked about the geography of the map, being a mash up of different zones, Greene said: "I agree. There's a volcanic rock in the middle of fields and stuff, which really shouldn't be there [...] It's our plan in maybe a year's time to go back to Erangel and sort of remake the map and give it that identity of this kind of Russian or Crimean island, I should say."
