Retro Fighters is a relatively unknown brand, however, it has attracted a lot of attention in recent days for launching a crowdfunding campaign for a 'next gen' Nintendo 64 controller. After all, the console is two decades old, and the controllers are not only fragile but also not to everyone's tastes.
Their goal is to offer a controller compatible with the Nintendo 64 except with a more modern design, including better-placed buttons, a memory card slot, and a vibrating feature, all of which is detailed on Kickstarter.
The starting goal was $13,000 USD, but this has passed the $100,000 mark already, which has unlocked new colours for the controller. If you were wondering how much it would cost when released, though, this will be $20 (which equates to around £15), and will be available from November.
