Gran Turismo Sport's release date of October 18 is closing in fast, providing super-detailed racing for fans of the series yet again, including cars made by Porsche, and now series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed that online updates and DLC for cars and tracks will be coming, with a resounding "no" when asked about microtransactions.
This was asked by Gema Show Indo at PlayStation Experience in Malaysia, and the answer will no doubt be a relief to fans of the series. Gran Turismo 6, after all, contained the feature, and many dislike microtransactions as a whole.
GT Sport is joining the likes of Project Cars 2 and Forza 7 as upcoming racers competing for the attention of gamers, but how good can it perform when it releases?
