After Sonic, Comic Zone, Kid Chameleon, Phantasy Star II, and Altered Beast made their way to smartphones as part of the Sega Forever program, it's now the turn of Revenge of the Shinobi to come to your phone for free.

Revenge of the Shinobi was released back in 1990 on the Sega Mega Drive (or Genesis, depending on where you're from), and it had a number of different releases due to copyright issues surrounding some of the characters.

If you ever want to discover or rediscover this game, it's available on iOS and Android devices for free, although this version will feature adverts, but you can pay a few pounds to get rid of those.

What other games do you hope to see integrated into the Sega Forever retro compilation?
