The next Tony Hawk game, said to be featuring a new means of control (some sort of board thingy?) is not being developed by Neversoft - the company responsible for all previous Tony Hawk games. This has been confirmed by Neversoft founder Joel Jewett.
This confirms earlier rumours that Activision Blizzard had opted for a new developer this time after a Tony Hawk free 2008. Startup Robomodo is rumoured to be the new Tony Hawk developer as their website states: "We are currently working on a high-profile extreme sports title for Activision Blizzard and are seeking talented developers to join our team."
Remains to be seen if Robomodo has what it takes to take the initiative back from EA's Skate series.
