We already knew PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds was doing well, and this success keeps growing, as we now know that the game has just passed Grand Theft Auto V when it comes to concurrent players on Steam.

This was revealed on the game's official Twitter account, which also includes a diagram to prove it. The tweet also thanks fans for their support in bringing the game to where it is now.

Three games are ahead of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds right now, though, and those are Fallout 4, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Dota 2. A reasonable guess is that it might climb to number three if this success continues, but the latter two games are very far ahead in number of concurrent players.

Can PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds grow even bigger?
