One disgruntled Overwatch fan recently took to the forums to ask "why does reporting someone for throwing silence them?," adding their frustration that they should be punished in a way that actually discourages that type of behaviour, and as can often happen game director Jeff Kaplan responded to the post with the following message.
"It doesn't [silence them] anymore. It hasn't done this for some time. There is a post coming about updates to the punishment system coming soon." While there's not much information to go on with this, it's good to hear Blizzard is actively looking at the punishment system in the game. What system would you like to see implemented?
