A few weeks ago we reported that Tom Holland, the actor that plays the newest version of Spider-Man, was being considered for the role of Nathan Drake role in the upcoming Uncharted film, and Holland has confirmed in a recent interview that he is indeed being considered for the part, even admitting to conversations about it with Sony Picture's top dogs.
"The idea is to make an origin story for Nathan Drake, something we haven't really seen since the games take place later in his life, but at the moment this is just a conversation," he said. "I sat down with Tom Rothman [Sony Pictures chairman] and we sort of came up with this idea, and I sat down with Shawn Levy [director] to talk about this idea, and believe me, this is something I'm very passionate about, that I would love to do, but it just depends if it's going to work out."
What do you think of an origin story with Tom Holland as Nathan Drake? Can he do justice to the role?
