We have some bad news if you're among the players who love the Theater Mode in the Call of Duty franchise, as Sledgehammer Games's chief operating and development officer, Michael Condrey, confirmed that this feature won't be added in Call of Duty: WWII, expected on several platforms this autumn.

A fan on Twitter asked Condrey if the feature would be in the upcoming game, and the Sledgehammer man said: "There will not. Very sorry. But the Share functionality on the PS4 is very powerful for capturing and uploading." A real shame, since not all players will enjoy this new game on PlayStation 4.

If you don't know what it is, Theater Mode is a feature that allows players to record and save the game directly into the game library. This mode was previously included in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and all three titles of the Black Ops series, and was a pretty big hit with players.

Call of Duty: WWII will be available from November 3 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Are you sad this isn't included in the game?
