As we are no longer treated to the full monthly statistics of US video game sales we have to make do with what little information that trickles out.
Titles such as Rock Band 3, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Vanquish, Kirby's Epic Yarn and Wii Party apparently fell short of expectations, but no title suffered like Tony Hawk: Shred as it sold a mere 3,000 copies during October. Is it the end of the Tony Hawk franchise? It could very well be so after years of struggling for a series that once sold millions.
The best selling titles of October were NBA 2K11, Fallout: New Vegas, Medal of Honor, Fable III, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II and Halo: Reach.
