Microsoft did a strong 750,000 Xbox 360 units and Nintendo sold the 400,000 Wii U units they had, but it seems Sony also enjoyed a strong Black Friday week in the U.S. on the back of some nice bundles.
Sony's Jack Tretton revealed that 525,000 PS3 units were sold, plus a more modest but still encouraging 160,000 PS Vita units. In particular it was strong sales of bundles that helped Sony achieve these numbers as both PS3 and PS Vita had some very nice bundles, perhaps most notably the Ultra Value bundle that included the first two Uncharted games, the Infamous collection and a 250 GB Playstation 3 for just $199. Sony also noted that PS Plus sales were up 259% compared to Black Friday week last year.
