The next Dragon Age didn't feature during E3, but it was mentioned during a new episode of The 1099 podcast on Soundcloud, where the current creative director of the series, Mike Laidlaw, once again confirmed that a new chapter in the RPG series is actually in development.

Laidlaw also took the opportunity to discuss various as aspects of how the game is being created, as well as outlining what features are inevitable in such an important AAA project.

It's not the first time that the development of this next game in the series has been mentioned, after Alexis Kennedy, the author of Fallen London and Sunless Sea, confirmed that he has been collaborating on the game's script (more on that here), but at the moment the company has yet to reveal anything official.
