Sources "close to Sega" have told Nintendolife that a sequel to Wii shooter House of the Dead: Overkill is in development and aimed for release sometime next year. The original game was developed by Headstrong Games, and featured the most f-bombs ever heard in gaming (public matches of Halo excepted).
Nintendolife writes:
"Details on the game are still undisclosed, but what we've been told is that a title codenamed "House of the Dead: Overkill 2" is being worked on, which we assume is for Wii and potentially PSMove."
Sega have taken a keen interest in Playstation Move so it does seem like a distinct possibility we suppose. Mature rated games on Wii have had it rough. We'll have to wait and see how this turns out.
