Bodycount has been seen as something of a spiritual successor to Criterion's black, as the same director Stuart Black was behind the project. Black left the project in October as Codemasters claimed his design job was done on the game, but evil tongues claimed it had to do with "post-E3 fallout".
This time it's the top executive at Codemasters Guildford, Adrian Bolton, who resigns as the game is now scheduled to be released next summer (previously it was thought it would be out in the spring). It doesn't sound very promising to our ears, but it remains to be seen if Bodycount can deliver on the early promise.
