If Amnesia Fortnight sounds familiar you're probably a Double Fine fan. Tim Schafer's company regurlarly had breaks of two weeks where everyone in the company comes up with new ideas that they try and build prototypes of in two weeks. Well, the process has resulted in full games like Stacking, Costume Quest, Iron Brigade and Once Upon A Monster, and now Double Fine are teaming up with Humble Bundle to allow gamers to be part of the Amnesia Fortnight selection process.

As usual with Humble Bundle you pay want you want and you decide whether the money goes to the developer or a charity (Child's Play). What you're getting is a vote on which four (out of 23) concepts that Double Fine will spend two weeks developing - you will then get these four prototypes along with the prototypes for Happy Song (what became Once Upon A Monster later) and Stacking.

Week one you will get to vote for your favourite pitch (presented by the 23 Double Fine staffers who came up with them), week 2 and 3 you will be able to follow the process as four of these are turned into prototypes as it is being filmed by 2Player Productions (some crew resonsible for the Double Fine Adventure videos).

Currently the total stands at $59,000 with 9,300 folks wanting to be a part of Amnesia Fortnight. It's a unique opportunity to gain some insight into the creative process at Double Fine Productions - so if that's something that peaks your interest head over to the Humble Bundle website.

Leading the way in the voting so far is Brandon Dillon's Hack n' Slash with JP LeBreton's Spacebase DF-9 in second. Some of the ideas are rather ridiculous, while others are rather pretentious and conceptual. Everything from someone having to escape an office with poop in his pants (Duncan Boehle's Silent But Deadly) to more conceptual stuff (Andy Wood's The White Birch).

Stacking started out life as an Amnesia Fortnight concept.
