After saying there'd be no recoil on PC, we now know that's not quite the case.

Recoil is something we've all come to deal with when playing console shooters, but during a recent interview with Finder, Destiny 2 project lead Mark Noseworthy commented on the recoil of guns on PC for the upcoming sequel, saying that there wouldn't be any full stop.

"There's no recoil on guns on PC because recoil on the controller feels really good. 'I'm firing, I'm firing, I'm firing, oh, I'm losing control of my gun a little bit.' That feels great, especially with magnetism and all the magic in the controller that makes you feel it. With a mouse and keyboard, you don't want the mouse moving without you moving it, so recoil doesn't feel good, so there is no recoil on PC," he explained.

However, this wasn't the end of discussion on the topic, as PC Lead David Shaw tweeted that recoil on PC is "modified heavily on PC for awesome M/KB gameplay that still feels like Destiny. But we still have recoil," even providing a gameplay clip of the recoil in action. That's when Noseworthy took to Twitter himself to clarify the situation for everyone, saying: "Clarification on PC recoil from our PC Lead. It's still there; but heavily modified from console."

Do you think this recoil model sounds reasonable?

Thanks, VG247.
