There's just one week to go before the next Gamelab conference (June 28-30). It's actually the seventh in a row to take place in Barcelona, and now both speaker list and the panel schedule are set in stone, confirming one of the most impressive and varied lineups so far.

After previous speaker announcements, such as Ultima Online creator and Honor Award Richard Garriot, industry veteran Phil Harrison, and Fumito Ueda and Mike Pondsmith - Shadow of the Colossus & The Last Guardian, and Cyberpunk creators respectively- among others, the final list not only includes Arkane Studios' Rafael Colantonio (Prey, Dishonored) or Supercell's Mikko Kodisoja (Clash Royale, Clash of Clans), but also unveils what many of the speakers will talk about during their panels.

Remedy's Sam Lake will also be there talking about narrative now that the Finnish studio is done with Quantum Break and the Microsoft exclusive partnership, while Mercury Steam's Enric Álvarez will discuss fresh shooter approaches with the innovative Raiders of the Broken Planet about to be launched and the very traditional Metroid: Samus Returns just unveiled at E3.

Other than that, Activision competitive gaming VP Mike Sepso will be back in Barcelona to talk esports, while Google's Rachid El Guerrab will analyse VR storytelling, Jon Neverdie will be Jon Neverdie, and CCP Games' Hilmar Veigar will, of course, speak about universes.

Finally, an assortment of brilliant and creative minds from the indie scene, such as former Playdead lead Dino Patti (Limbo, Inside), Mimimi's Johaness Roth (Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun), Tequila Work's Raúl Rubio (Rime), Vlambeer's Rami Ismail (Luftrausers), or Starbreeze's Emmanuel Márquez (Payday, StarVR), will also share their thoughts.

If you're considering Barcelona for a sunny end of June trip, you can still meet all these (and more) talents at the Hesperia Hotel. If you can't make it, Gamereactor will once again provide you with special coverage and exclusive interviews with this stellar speaker list as the official media partner to this prestigious event.
