Nintendo Switch was released in early March and, despite complaints about relatively few launch games, it sold out everywhere. Since then sales have continued to be really strong, so much so that it can still be tricky finding a Switch in certain areas.

Unfortunately, that seems like something we are going to have to get used to, this according to Daniel Ahmad, an analyst at Niko Partners. He writes on Twitter: "Expect Nintendo Switch shortages to continue through the rest of the year. Production is still capped right now due to component shortages."

In the middle of the summer it might be easier to find a console, but if Ahmad is right, then Switch will likely be harder to buy closer to Black Friday and Christmas.
