One of the oldest living gaming magazines - EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) just shy of 20 years. But as Ziff Davis decided to sell the 1up website to UGO Entertainment they also decided to pull the plug on EGM the printed magazine. A sad day for video game journalism as EGM always seemed to stand for a higher ethical code than most other magazines. Hopefully 1up will continue the tradition even under new ownership, but that remains to be seen.
