Bethesda's conference this E3 was heavily focused on Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, The Evil Within 2, and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. Many people were hoping for news on a sequel to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but in an interview with PCGamesN, Pete Hines said that nobody at Bethesda is even working on The Elder Scrolls VI yet. In fact, it's "third on the to-do list".
Disappointing news to say the least. He goes on to say that Bethesda "have at least two major titles that they are working on" before they'll get round to the Skyrim successor. What those two big titles are is unconfirmed, but they're also working on other projects like Skyrim on PSVR, Skyrim on Switch, and Fallout 4 VR. Bad news for anyone that was hoping for an announcement this year. E3 2018, perhaps?
