EA took the opportunity during EA Play (essentially their E3 press conference) to heap some praise on Microsoft's upcoming console Scorpio. While they didn't go into detail, they did reveal how the extra digital juice has made it possible for them to increase the amount of detail they can render, using fabric and stitches on clothing in Madden NFL 18 as an example.
While we still don't have any detailed screenshots of this, and only blurry screengrabs from our livestream, this was the first time we've seen a Scorpio version of any game being shown. Something that'll surely change tomorrow when Microsoft will unveil the hardware.
