Wonder Woman has fared extremely well with critics (we liked it a lot), and the film also seems to have struck a chord with audiences worldwide, earning a stellar weekend debut last week. All of this points to a sequel, but even though star Gal Gadot already has signed on for future projects involving the character, the director has not.
Hollywood Reporter reveals that director Patty Jenkins' directing gig was a one-off, but now that the film is a huge success, steps are being taken to ensure her return.
Furthermore, Jenkins is being considered to take a greater role within the DCU framework, and work alongside chief Geoff Johns on future DC films. Do you think Jenkins has proved herself with this film?
