Despite Death Stranding being in very early stages of development, Hideo Kojima has been very keen to show off the game at various events, including the worldwide reveal at E3 last year. While it's good to see more of the game, it can be frustrating to only get small glimpses here and there for a long period of time, and so it is that Death Stranding is skipping E3 this year.
Hideo Kojima has confirmed this via Twitter, saying that Death Stranding will be skipping over E3 2017 simply because the team is solely focused on development. He also left an enigmatic image, which you can see below.
