Koei Tecmo Europe has confirmed today that Blue Reflection, the "heart-warming and colourful" RPG set in an all-girls high school in modern day Japan, is coming to western shores on September 29.
In the game players assume the role of Hinako Shirai, a ballet dancer who injured her foot one year prior to the beginning of the game and has been unable to dance since. She's granted the power to fight as a so-called magical girl and, similar to Persona 5, players attend school and spend time with classmates during the day, before visiting an alternate world where monsters exist. The entire game is intended to be a portrayal of youth for women, focusing on the concepts of interaction between women and personal growth through sharing experiences.
Blue Reflection launched in Japan on March 30 and was widely praised by Japanese outlets. Pre-ordering the western version of the game includes the School Swimsuit and Rorona style costumes, and an exclusive custom theme on PS4.
It's coming to both PC and PS4 on September 29, but will you be picking it up?
