KMM Interactive, the Australian studio that absorbed staff from L.A. Noire creators Team Bondi, has posted three job adverts that indicate Whore of the Orient is on track for a possible 2015 release (though we're expecting a new name by then).
The job listings offer work up until mid 2015, so a release around then (or perhaps late 2014, with additional time put aside to prepare DLC post-release) is entirely possible. For more details about the PC and next-gen console game head this way.
