Sony has released up-to-date figures for some of their recently released software and hardware, such as PS4 Pro, PlayStation VR and Horizon: Zero Dawn. As usual, they're not as crystal clear as they are with the main PS4, but we can see the more of the big picture now.

One-in-five PlayStation 4 consoles sold since last November were PS4 Pro units. According to Jim Ryan, Sony's global sales chief, this is "way ahead of our expectations" considering supply constraints suffered during the holidays. There are no official numbers, but given sales of PS4 in general over the same period, this would put PS4 Pro somewhere around the 2 million mark.

Sony global game development boss Shawn Layden told Time that they almost hit the 60 million mark, and claims that they are 2-to-1 against Xbox in North America and "at least 3-to-1 in unit sales" in Europe.

Sales of PlayStation VR are also above Sony's expectations, though we kind of feel they must have been low-balling their expectations. There have been more than one million headsets sold, Layden told The Verge. There have also been 5.25 million VR games sold with an average playtime of 25 minutes per session.

Finally, the most significant first-party launch of the year, Horizon: Zero Dawn, that's been enjoying extended success. After a strong start, it shows some legs. As of April 30, there were 3.4 million copies sold out of which 915,000 were digital. Given the fact that the game shipped 2.6 million copies in its first two weeks, the game clearly has enjoyed a long tail at retail.
