Abylight has found a dedicated use for the Nintendo Switch's touch panel in Qbics Paint, as this edutainment software allows players to paint and sculpt with their fingers, just by clicking on boxes to uncover the modeling beneath the block.

"The brilliant artist Michelangelo thought that sculpting masterpieces such as David or the Pietà was actually pretty easy: "all I do is chip away everything that is not my statue", he said. In Qbics Paint you will become a sort of Michelangelo: you will have to sculpt blocks with your own fingers to "free" the Qbics hiding within," the press release says.

Qbics Paint features four game modes (Sculpt, Paint, Creation, and Image) and more than 50 pre-made models, plus 50 empty spaces for your own creations. Within the Image mode, you can also take a picture with a background from the real world.

If all of this sounds good to you, you can learn more about the game here. Does this sound like a fun form of edutainment?
